Beautiful Roses for Sale!

The team at Blinky Bill are selling three different, beautiful rose bushes to raise funds for Blinky Bill’s TasBash journey and to help empower Tassie kids who would otherwise fall through the gaps.

We have chosen three very different rose bushes: Butterfly Kisses (The Variety Rose Bush); Dolly’s Rose and the Peter Brock Rose.

Butterfly Kisses is a robust floribunda growing to 100cm high with large blooms of pearly pink and a medium fruity citrus fragrance. The large blooms are elegant and plentiful appearing in clusters of three to seven flowers throughout the season.

Dolly’s Rose is a stunning fragrant shrub rose which features large cup-shaped flowers produced in small clusters of 3-5 blooms on strong stems. It is an attractive deep purple colour in warm weather changing to a more intense burgundy on cooler days, with a lovely strong fragrance.

Peter Brock’s Rose is a vigorous upright Hybrid Tea that produces striking luminous bright red blooms with a light perfume, large spiral buds and glossy dark green foliage. This rose symbolises and honours the legacy of Australian motor racing driver, Peter Brock.

Each rose bush costs only $30, collection from Hobart, or Jan can deliver next week to Hobart supporters (payment on delivery). Not only will you be supporting Tassie kids in need, you’ll be creating a beautiful garden and enjoying lovely cut roses adorning your house! It is now the time to start thinking about planting for your spring garden. There are limited numbers available, so don’t delay!

Please contact Jan on 0413 804 468 or [email protected] to place an order.

I'm taking part in the Variety Federal Group TasBash to help kids in need

G’day! We are so excited to be taking part in this year’s Variety Federal Group TasBash!

The TasBash is a once in a lifetime chance to experience remote and regional parts of Tasmania in outrageously themed cars, all in support of Variety – the Children’s Charity.

Throughout the event, we’ll be visiting local towns, stopping into schools and organisations to help kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have additional needs through the provision of educational, health and mobility equipment. And the giving doesn’t stop there! Variety continue to support children, families and communities throughout the year with funds raised from the TasBash.

Help us give Tassie kids a Fair-Go – donate today!
