Archie's 100 Run
Archies 100 run is to raise awareness for organ donation and the importance of education, blood donation and its role in the community, acknowledging our emergency services workers and the significance of their roles and lastly raise funds for our hospitals here in Tasmania.
The run is expected to be from Stanley in the north of the state through to Hobart in the south, reaching as many communities as possible in Tasmania.
The distance is to be 400km in total run over 4 days with the run group completing 100km a day starting on the 01/08/23 and concluding in Hobart on the 04/0823.
The course would include running on major Tasmanian highways/roads including the Bass Hwy, Midlands Hwy and Brooker Hwy.

Archie saved the lives of 5 strangers by donating 5 of his organs
We want all Australians to talk about organ and tissue donation. If you want to be a real-life hero, like Archie, make sure you tell your family and friends.
Registering is easy and only takes one minute. All you need is your phone, Medicare card and one minute to register. It doesn’t matter how old you are, your medical history, your lifestyle, what country you’re from or how healthy you are — you can still register as an organ and tissue donor.
After his accident, Archie received many units of blood from Red Cross Lifeblood which gave his family more precious time with him.

Archie's 100
Awareness Run

Archie’s run team will run as much or as little as they like - as long as the team achieves 100kms each day.
10 hrs
10 hours per day to complete each day 7am – 5pm
